I’m in the middle of knitting this free Sucre cardigan pattern. I’m making it a few inches longer to about mid-hip. It uses category 5 bulky yarn. Sucre is almost identical to the Bernadette cardigan. Bernadette is in Danish Google’s English translation is almost as cryptic.

The Sucre cardigan has slight shoulder shaping and I wanted to try short rows instead of the star-step bind-offs. Technically, I could skip the shaping and just make straight rectangles. The sweater already has dropped shoulders and I really don’t think it would make any difference at all. I just might end up doing that. Love me some mindless knitting.
